Truancy carries heavy consequences

It's against the law, and in the most extreme cases it can land parents and students in jail. Parents can also face fines.

When is a child considered a truant?

Any student with at least three unexcused absences in a school year can be considered a truant, according to state law. An absence can mean a child missed an entire day of school, a full period or is more than 30 minutes late to class

Consequences for truancy 

beyond six unexcused absences in some countries as U.S.A include parents having to meet with school officials, community service, school service, court appearances and ultimately fines and jail time for students or parents.

if the student begins to miss in a row, the consequences could be even worse because not attending classes would lose the subjects so that he could not graduate like the other students in the class, so he would begin to have an uncertain future. say it can lead to bad habits or vices that what could end up in the street

Do not blame your friends. 

Many persons say that a student turns in truant for his friendship, but this thought is totally mistaken due to the fact that we as teenagers already have the aptitude to take our own decisions without leaving ourselves to influence of some friend or relative. 

If a person has a clear criterion on something, any argument will not convince it to do the opposite to what person is thinking, for this reason, it (he, she) is that it is necessary to stop blaming the friends of the decisions that we themselves take.

Being truant is a problem that is given in many parts of the world and with different skills that are applied to stop it, we have to bear in mind that not in all sides the same skills will work.

Causes of truancy

Nowadays, most of the students are truancy because many of them are sick and have problems in their home or sometimes they do not want to attend so they do not want to see their friends. They may also be afraid of a teacher or not present any task, they lie to their parents who as they go to the school but it is the opposite go another place and then apracen the school and when it is time to leave or they do not show up and go straight to the house.
